Brief Description of Duties: 

The Burdette Lab at the UIC College of pharmacy seeks a postdoctoral fellow in ovarian cancer biology to assist with in vitro and in vivo experiments for ovarian cancer biology and natural products drug discovery research projects.

Under the supervision of the Primary Investigator, the primary job duties for this position include the long term maintenance of mammalian cell cultures, CRISPR, data mining, histopathology, cloning, RNAseq, and working with mouse models. The postdoctoral fellow will also prepare manuscripts, write fellowship applications, participate in research symposia, and assist with training and maintenance of the lab.

A minimum of a PHD degree in the biological sciences is required, with a preference for someone already in the Chicagoland area. Basic competence with commonly used computer software programs is expected (e.g. Word, Excel, Prism, Adobe, Oncomine, cbioportal, etc).
