Brief Description of Duties:

The Lesch Lab at Yale University School of Medicine is looking for postdoctoral associates beginning in December 2017. The lab focuses on understanding the evolution of gene regulatory states in the mammalian testes, using a combination of comparative epigenomic analysis and mouse genetic models. We are looking for candidates with either strong experimental or strong computational skills, or with experience in both. We seek self-motivated, productive investigators who are able to clearly communicate scientific results and who are excited to participate in establishing a new lab. We especially encourage applications from individuals with experience in mouse genetics and testis manipulation, generation and/or analysis of functional genomics data (e.g. RNA-seq, ChIP-seq), or molecular evolution. Applicants should have or expect to receive a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in biology or bioinformatics and should have at least one published first-author paper.
