Brief Description of Duties:

The Bolcun-Filas Lab at The Jackson Laboratory is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to apply systems genetics and experimental approaches to dissect how genetic factors influence the quality and quantity of eggs, and female fertility. This project exploits genetically diverse mice from Diversity Outbred (DO) and Collaborative Cross (CC) - the most relevant animal models for genetically heterogeneous populations such as human. Our aim is to identify genes and gene variants associated with variable reproductive parameters and link them to cellular processes and molecular mechanisms during oocyte development.
